We’re living in an amazing time when all information is easily accessible to everyone, including musicians and their fans. At the same time, sometimes there’s just too much information and noise (“thank you”, AI). It’s not always easy to find authentic art, especially if creators focus more on making art than fighting the algorithm that’s supposed to deliver it to you.
This year has been extremely generous to me in terms of meeting such people. I’ve met many creatives whose music I admire, and I want you to know about them, too! So I’m starting a new video series – a video podcast called Ondra Meets… The same four questions for every guest plus one song or tune. A new episode will drop every Tuesday. You can find it on my YouTube channel – subscribe so you don’t miss any episode. I’ll also list all episodes on my website, and you can hear about them on my social media (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok). The first 30 episodes of Ondra Meets will feature Joe K. Walsh, Brittany Haas, Eli Gilbert, Brenna MacMillan, Farayi Malek, Raphaël Maillet, Brad Kolodner, Kristy Cox, Paul van Vlodrop, George Jackson, Catherine Bowness, Steve Roy, Ben Krakauer, Dan Bui Devon Gardner, Carolyn Kendrick, Lauren Rioux, Ethan Setiawan, Louise Bichan, Jason Bailey, Ellie Hakanson, Tyler Griffith, Kylie Kay Anderson, Esther Duerinck, Jeri Foreman, Loes van Schaijk, Roberto Dalla Vecchia, Carlo Aonzo, Franco Morone; with many more to come.
I hope you’ll enjoy this new video podcast, and I hope to meet you in person too! Check out my schedule and come say hi. See you soon!
