This tenth year of New Aliquot’s existence has been great! We made a lot of new music with David Benda, played for amazing audiences at clubs and festivals, and our single has just been released.
It features two of my compositions—a radical remake of the song In My Next Life from our previous band Křeni’s album, and the fiddle instrumental Lost and Found, where Vítek’s guitar shines alongside David’s banjo machine gun and Karel’s dobro fireworks. Of course, without Tim’s bass, we’d be nothing… I’m grateful for every single moment with this bunch on stage, and I’m glad we can now bring a bit of our shared energy to your speakers.
We recorded and mixed it in my studio; Petr Karafiát took a beautiful photo for us, and Slávka Franclíková designed the artwork—thank you!
