New Year’s Concert in Jeseník

Like probably everyone else, I have ambitions. At the top of my musical ambitions has been solo performing for many years. I have always been fascinated by the individual abilities of people (not only in music), and as a listener, I enjoy them most during solo performances. Naturally, I have also wanted to try it myself for as long as I can remember. I had one of my first solo concerts (if not the very first) ten years ago. It is a difficult discipline, but extremely fulfilling. I like the challenge. I like being able to immerse myself fully in the preparations and not be held back by considerations for others. I enjoy the enormous freedom of performing.

My musical year 2026 kicked off with a sold-out concert “Za oponou” (Behind the Curtain) at the Petr Bezruč Theater in Jeseník. The music was interspersed with spoken word by historian Pavel Macháček, an expert on the extinct settlements of Jeseník and author of books that serve as guidebooks for my family and me. We love visiting these places, and over the years I have taken photographs of them for Pavel’s books.

Several more solo performances are planned for this year. You can find the dates and details here 📅. Through the videos below, I cordially invite you and look forward to seeing you!
