It\u2019s been seven long years since the release of my last album,\u00a0Overtones<\/a>.<\/b>\u00a0My conscience can no longer bear to put off working on the next one \ud83d\ude0a I\u2019ve been collecting material in the form of musical ideas for a long time. Still, there\u2019s always something\u00a0more important<\/em>\u00a0that pushes my own projects to the back burner, since they\u2019re not\u00a0urgent<\/em>. Do you know that feeling, too?<\/p>\n

Finally, I\u2019m currently focusing more on finishing some original compositions, and I plan to record some of them as early as next month with some of my favorite musicians during my trip to the U.S. You have something to look forward to! \"\ud83c\udfb6\"<\/span><\/p>\n

But now I also have time to look back on the project Overtones \u2013 12 Songs \u2022 12 Vintage Guitars <\/em>(read its story here<\/a>), which includes not only the album, a photo booklet, and a tab book, but also a\u00a0behind-the-scenes video documentary<\/b> of the preparations. In it, you\u2019ll see footage from my travels and concerts, learn about the guitars and songs on the album, the equipment used, the studio and on-stage sound engineering, the mixing process, the creation of the tabs, and more. The video was originally intended as a reward for those who supported the project through the crowdfunding campaign in 2019. While recording the album, I also shot two music videos featuring the owner of the guitar collection. These were also part of the rewards, but I think it\u2019s time to share them with everyone else as well. \ud83c\udfb6<\/p>\n
