But I want to record the most interesting moments of 2025 for myself, because music has once again allowed me to experience things, meet people, and visit places that I would never have dreamed of without it. And I&#8217;d like to share them with you. Not to brag, but because I believe that music and sharing it improves people&#8217;s lives (and, by extension, the world). At least my happiness is strongly shaped by music and the sharing spirit of the people who create it.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2>January 2025<\/h2>\n<div>\u2022 I played chansons and folk music on the violin with ToPinQui at the legendary Kosodrevina Winter Music Camp in Slovakia, and also a beautiful concert with Loes Bluegrass Trio in the smallest hall I have ever performed in \u2013 the AL Iks\u00edr theater in Prague.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Thanks mainly to the great efforts of my musical partner Radim Zenkl, I obtained a US work visa so that I could legally teach and perform there.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 I converted the entire database of several hundred <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atamusic.eu\/en\/tabs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tablatures on the ATAmusic<\/a> href=\"https:\/\/newaliquot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Aliquot<\/a> and organizing ATAmusic workshops, which is something that keeps me busy all year round anyway.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 I started filming and writing a long-planned course on mandolin accompaniment.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 We released a three-part dobro lesson with Heinrich Nov\u00e1k (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLixNmNKi4y4wO6Df0tYm37y-FkACfeHn7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">free on YouTube<\/a>).<\/div>\n<div id='gallery-2' class='gallery galleryid-7554 taught guitar at the <a href=\"https:\/\/alrasfestival.com\/bluegrass-camp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barcelona Bluegrass Camp<\/a>, where we also played several concerts with Llu\u00eds annual concert of the ToPinQui trio at Parn\u00edk in Ostrava \u2013 an iconic club for me, where I absorbed quality music from around the world as a kid.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 The tenth anniversary of Zlatohorsk\u00e1 hudebn\u00ed hore\u010dka (Zlat\u00e9 Hory Music Fever) took place in Zlat\u00e9 Hory \u2013 a music workshop for guitar, mandolin, dobro, and bass players.<\/div>\n<div edition of the EWOB festival in the Netherlands.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 The eighth edition of the violin and banjo workshop Jesenick\u00fd Shuffle took place in Rejv\u00edz in the Jesen\u00edky 2025<\/h2>\n<div>\u2022 I completed a three-hour video course with tablature for mandolin accompaniment in bluegrass, country, and folk music.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u2022 At the 53rd <a href=\"https:\/\/bacr.cz\/banjo-jamboree-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Banjo Jamboree<\/a>, Ralph Schut, Erik Bani\u010d, and I accompanied five-string banjo legend Bill Evans and his wife Babi (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lNruyOU47YM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video<\/a>). For the nineteenth time, I also organized workshops there and, for the second time, prepared the entire program.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 In Maryville, Tennessee (USA), I taught guitar for a week at the world&#8217;s largest bluegrass workshop \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flatpik.com\/steve-kaufmans-acoustic-kamp-overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Steve Kaufman&#8217;s Acoustic Kamp<\/a> (I write more about SKAK here). However, the most beautiful performances of the entire season, with an amazing reception from fans, took place at the Grenna Bluegrass Festival in Sweden with New Aliquot and at the first Water Sound Bluegrass and Roots Festival in the Orkney Islands, Scotland, with Radim Zenkl. In addition to my life as a musician, which I share almost everything about, I also lead a family life, which I share nothing about, but which keeps me just as busy and fulfilled, if not more so.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I also share news from my world on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ondrakozakmusic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ondrakozakmusic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCIldY2ihPyJ_5IN6MpXGA2A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a>.
